Octopus : 30" x 48" Painting on Canvas

Once when free diving in Catalina, off the Southern California coast, I ran into this octopus named Gary. He wore a trucker cap and only had five tentacles. We had a quick drink, shared a cigarette and then I had to get going. I wasn't carrying a camera but I always thought I'd paint Gary's portrait one day. So I did. And this is it!
